A permit provides the drone pilot with authority to fly their vehicle in an approved forest area on the date of permit, as authorised by a Ranger.
All permit holders must adhere to the Drone Use in ForestrySA Guidelines.
Drones must not be flown within 30m of people, within operation zones or within Native Forest Reserves. Conditions Apply*
Forests are closed at night and on days of Total Fire Ban.
